In Memory of Jeff Hitchcock

The SPCHA is deeply saddened by the loss of long-time coach and board member, Jeff Hitchcock, who passed away yesterday after suffering a stroke over the weekend.

Jeff was an positive force who made lasting contributions to the association, especially with the girls program. His enthusiasm was contagious, inspiring everyone around him. 

Our thoughts are with his wife, Kari, and their kids, Jameson and Juju. May we all find comfort in our memories of Jeff and celebrate his life and the lasting impact he has had on our community.

Rest in peace, Jeff. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on.

District Tourney Update

The (6) 12U B2 team knocked off (8) Hastings in 3OT to move on to the 🎉Consolation Championship!

They face off against (3) Cottage Grove tomorrow at 1:45 p.m. at the Burnsville Ice Center.

The D8 tourney journey continues for the Saints 12U B2s. The team battled hard against (1) Woodbury White this morning, pulling within 1 in the 3rd period but ultimately ran out of time.

Next up: (8) Hastings at 4:45 p.m. this afternoon back at the Burnsville Ice Center

District Tournament Update

The (6) 12U B2 team lost a close one on Tuesday to (9) Rochester who were obviously extra amped up having received word moments before puck drop that their school was cancelled the next day. 

Next up for the 12U B2 squad is (1) Woodbury White. Game time is 9:45 a.m. tomorrow morning at the Burnsville Ice Center.

Check out the Mite 1 Jamboree

The Mite 1 group had their season ending jamboree, and it didn’t disappoint!  

The kids got their name announced, the National Anthem was sung, and medals were handed out. Congrats to all the kids, parents, and coaches on a great season!

Congrats to our Region tournament teams!

Big congratulations go out to our 15U A, 15U B, and Peewee A teams for well-played Region tournaments.

Each team brought their competitive spirit and battled hard throughout the weekend. We are so proud! Stick taps all around.

The 2024-25 season is nearly complete for the SPCHA - 12U B2 begins their District 8 playoff run tomorrow night against Rochester at the Burnsville Ice Center at 5:45 p.m.

Peewee A lost a heartbreaker in OT against Cottage Grove at noon but reached deep and bounced back with another strong game against a tough Woodbury team at 7:00 p.m. to continue their Drive to State.

15U A fell to Edina White

15U B fell to Eden Prairie/Jefferson

Sunday's Regions lineup:

Peewee A takes on Hastings in an East Region battle starting at 10:00 a.m.
